Fully Mechanical Joints

Replace the 45-degree welds with 90-degree joints to achieve the most traditionally styled uPVC sash window design available and preserve the charm of a historic home. Fully mechanical joints play a crucial role in the construction of traditional sash windows, contributing to their design and structural integrity. The use of fully mechanical joints in sash windows not only reflects a commitment to traditional craftsmanship but also allows to restore authenticity to a building.

Run-through Sash Horns

By removing the lip on the sash horn edge, a new refined sash horn can carry a woodgrain foiled end cap that run seamlessly with the shape of the horn. The sash horn utilises mechanical joints rather than welded to allow the horn to be a continuous part of the sash giving the window a more authentic overall look. The new horn is available with the inclusion of a slim midrail only. On windows with a standard midrail, the run-through horn will look slightly different.
